Manufacturing Process

WIRE ROD TECHNOLOGY

Towards forward integration of the processes, company has set up Wire Rod manufacturing, Wire Drawing facilities (HB Wire) & Binding Wire at Purulia for manufacturing high quality Wire Rod of sizes 5.0 mm, 5.5 mm, 6.5 mm, 7 mm, 8 mm & 10 mm and HB wire of sizes 6 gauge to 14 Gauge with best available technology and plant & machinery support. The company is able to produce high quality Wire Rod & H.B. Wire in an efficient & cost effective manner.

WIRE ROD

Wire rod is a long steel semi-finished product manufactured by hot rolling billets on continuous rolling mills. It has a round cross-section and is wound up in coils.

Unlike other steel products, wire rod exhibits a significant commodity range variety; based on its chemical composition the following families of products and their differing corresponding uses can be identified:

>> mild steel rod, used to manufacture welded mesh and drawn rods (black, annealed and coated)

>> wire rod with medium or high carbon content, used to manufacture drawn

>> special steel rods used in hot and cold die-pressing, drawing and extrusion.

HB WIRE

These Mild steel wires (HB wires) is drawn through ‘cold drawing process’ using steel wire rod, deriving from excellent quality raw material of our own subsidiary company.

Our Steel wires find candid appreciation across infrastructure sector, withstanding all burdens of constructions. Such super finish strengthened Binding wire & Nails wire are frenzied largely in construction industry & barbed wire in fencing and for many such varieties of applications.

BINDIND WIRE

Binding Wire is used for a variety of construction applications. It is extensively used for binding bars and joints in order to keep the structure intact. It is also known as annealed wire and made up of the finest grade mild steel. Owing to its ability to resist chemical attacks, compression, and rust, this wire is sure to last for an extended period of time.
